ISPT celebra su primera prueba en Valladolid

El circuito de pádel senior más grande del mundo llega este año por primera vez a España. Tras su estreno en Mallorca, Valladolid será la segunda parada del 12 al 15 de octubre
International Senior Padel Tour surge como una necesidad de competencia para todos aquellos jugadores Seniors que ven limitada su participación en circuitos internacionales.
Los pilares del ISPT son la competición, el turismo y el ocio, por lo que además de los partidos se organizarán actividades que tienen que ver con nuestra ciudad, tanto dentro como fuera del club.
Los partidos que se jueguen en las pistas que cuentan con cámara, serán emitidos en streaming y los jugadores podrán verlos a posteriori.

Categorías e inscripción
La inscripción estará abierta desde el miércoles 20 de septiembre hasta el lunes 9 de octubre hasta las 12:00 h. Una vez cerrada la inscripción, se comprobará que todos los inscritos cumplen los requisitos para jugar el torneo.
Podrán participar aquellos jugadores y jugadoras que cumplan con los requisitos de edad de cada categoría que son las siguientes:
- +35 años podrán participar jugadores nacidos en el año 1988
- +40 años podrán participar jugadores nacidos en el año 1983
- +45 años podrán participar jugadores nacidos en el año 1978
- +50 años podrán participar jugadores nacidos en el año 1973
- +55 años podrán participar jugadores nacidos en el año 1968
- +60 años podrán participar jugadores nacidos en el año 1963
En caso de no poder realizarse una categoría por falta de inscritos, esta se juntará con la inmediatamente inferior (Ej. :Si no se realiza +45 los jugadores bajan a +40)
La inscripción (30€) incluye:
- Derecho a la participación en la competencia
- Recepción de bienvenida – presentación del Torneo o gala nocturna
- Entrega de premios – cierre del torneo
- Welcome pack valorado en 50€
El precio de la inscripción es de 30€ por jugador y da derecho a jugar como mínimo dos partidos, pelotas y agua para los partidos.
International Senior Padel Tour y el club The Players pueden adjudicar un Wild Card cada uno, dos por categoría.
La inscripción se realiza a través de la app de Paddeo Sports.

- Descarga la app de Paddeo Sports desde los enlaces que te dejamos más arriba
- Accede si ya estás registrado y, si no lo estás, regístrate. En la home aparece la opción de registro. Es importante que rellenes todos los campos. Tendrás que verificar la cuenta mediante un mail que te llegará (mira también en la carpeta de spam)
- Nada más acceder, te aparecerán los torneos que tendrán lugar próximamente. Busca ISPT Valladolid
- Selecciona la categoría en la que te quieres inscribir y, al hacer click, selecciona a tu pareja (ambos tenéis que estar registrados en la app)
- Selecciona tu talla de camiseta y la de tu compañero
- Selecciona el país de tu equipo
- Paga y confirma
- Recibirás un mail de confirmación con los datos de inscripción
- En ‘Mis competiciones’ puedes seleccionar las incidencias horarias (horas en las que NO podéis jugar)
La inscripción en la prueba internacional ISPT The Players Valladolid supone la aceptación de estas normas, que acatarán todos los jugadores inscritos, así como a las decisiones que adopte el Comité de Competición de la ISPT, el club organizador y el juez árbitro.

Todas las personas que se inscriban en nuestro club tendrán un descuento de 10€ por pareja. La inscripción se puede realizar presencial en el club o por teléfono.

Competición
Los partidos se disputarán a dos sets y en caso de empate a un set se reemplazará el tercero por un súper tie-break a 10 puntos.
El sistema de competencia se realizará de acuerdo al número de parejas inscriptas por categorías de la siguiente manera:
Si el número de pistas del club organizador lo permite:
- Primera Fase Round Robin
- Segunda Fase Salida a Cuadro de Simple Eliminación
En su defecto hasta 12 parejas:
- Primera Fase Round Robin
- Segunda Fase salida a cuadro de simple eliminación
Más de 12 parejas
- Cuadro de Simple Eliminación
En el sistema de competición Round Robin, se conformarán grupos de 4 (máximo), jugando entre todas las parejas de cada grupo. En el caso de empate final en los grupos, entre dos o más parejas, los criterios que se seguirán para deshacer el empate serán los siguientes:
- En caso de doble empate, ganará la pareja ganadora del enfrentamiento entre ellas
- En caso de triple empate, se seguirán los siguientes criterios por orden:
1º. Diferencia de partidos ganados y perdidos
2º. Diferencia de sets ganados y perdidos
3º. Diferencia de juegos ganados y perdidos
4º. Sorteo
El Comité de Competición se reserva el derecho de adecuar y modificar el sistema de competición en aquellos casos en que no se pueda mantener el formato original por razones de fuerza mayor.
Descanso
No hay descanso después del primer juego de cada set. Al terminar el set, el descanso es de dos minutos aunque no corresponda cambio de lado. Se podrán tomar 4 minutos de descanso después del segundo set. Si algún jugador se excediera de los 4 minutos será informado.
El tiempo de descanso entre 2 partidos será como mínimo el equivalente a un turno de partidos no pudiendo ser menor a una hora y cuarto.
Los jugadores podrán ser programados para jugar un máximo de dos partidos por día. El jugador/a que se anote en dos categorías deberá estar dispuesto a jugar el número de partidos necesarios para el normal desenvolvimiento del torneo y sin tiempo de descanso entre partidos si fuera necesario.
Una vez cerrada la inscripción, se hará el sorteo de los cuadros, que serán publicados con los horarios en la app Paddeo Sports. Los jugadores deben informarse del horario de su primer partido.
El juez árbitro tendrá la potestad de resolver cualquier cuestión relativa al torneo que se suscite antes o durante la disputa de este. De la misma manera, el juez árbitro es el único con autoridad para dar por perdido un partido por W.O. Sus decisiones serán inapelables.
El juez árbitro contará con información de contacto de las participantes para contactar con ellas en caso de que sea necesario.
Demoras excesivas
Los jugadores deberán comenzar el partido después de 5 minutos de peloteo. No podrán excederse de los 20 segundos entre la finalización de un punto y el inicio del siguiente. El jugador que reciba el saque deberá estar listo para hacerlo cuando el sacador esté listo para sacar. En el cambio de lado no podrán excederse de 1 minuto y medio.
Vestimenta
En la cancha, durante el partido, los jugadores deberán vestir ropa adecuada y pertinente para la práctica de pádel.
Lesiones
En caso de lesión durante el partido o peloteo, el jugador podrá requerir asistencia médica. Si necesitara diagnóstico o tratamiento, el jugador podrá hacer uso, por única vez, de la suspensión de 5 minutos reglamentarios.
El pedido de asistencia podrá realizarse en cualquier momento del partido. La suspensión del juego por 5 minutos puede efectuarse inmediatamente, o al final del juego o en el cambio de lado.
Si fuera en el cambio de lado, la suspensión podrá ser de 6 minutos y medio, incluyéndose también el minuto y medio correspondiente al cambio de lado. Una vez utilizada la suspensión de 5 minutos, si el jugador requiriera nuevamente asistencia médica, podrá hacerlo solo durante el minuto y medio del cambio de lado por un máximo de tres veces durante el partido. El mismo criterio se aplica en caso de calambre.
Premios
Las finales del torneo International Senior Padel Tour The Players Valladolid se disputarán, salvo comunicación previa, el domingo. Cuando finalicen los partidos programados (finales) se procederá a la entrega de premios. Todos los premios se entregarán a la finalización del torneo.
Se recomienda la asistencia de los dos miembros de la pareja a la entrega de trofeos y premios. Los campeones principales en todas las categorías recibirán un trofeo acreditativo de la prueba y una pala de pádel. Los subcampeones principales en todas las categorías recibirán un trofeo acreditativo de la prueba e indumentaria deportiva.
Código de conducta
Toda acción violatoria del Código de Conducta será tratada por Ética y Disciplina del Directorio de ISPT Europa. El informe lo eleva el Juez Árbitro del Torneo en conjunto con el director deportivo. El tribunal determinara la sanción a aplicar.
Conducta antideportiva: al finalizar el Torneo el Fiscal o el Director del Torneo informa por escrito al tribunal todas las violaciones al Código de Conducta, y este determina la sanción a aplicar. El siguiente es el esquema de penalidades a utilizar por parte del Fiscal durante el transcurso de un partido ante violaciones al código anteriormente mencionado:
1º Ofensa advertencia
2º Ofensa punto para los adversarios
3º y subsiguientes ofensas juego, set, match a favor de los adversarios El fiscal puede descalificar a un jugador por una única violación al código si, en su opinión, la acción lo justifica y la decisión es inapelable. Un jugador/a deberá hacer su mayor esfuerzo por ganar el partido. El jugador que, en la opinión del Fiscal, así no lo hiciese puede ser descalificado.

The largest senior padel circuit in the world arrives in Spain for the first time this year. After its debut in Mallorca, Valladolid will be the second stop from October 12th to 15th
The International Senior Padel Tour (ISPT) emerges as a necessity for competition among senior players who have limited opportunities to participate in international circuits.
The pillars of ISPT are competition, tourism, and leisure, so in addition to the matches, activities related to our city will be organized, both within and outside the club.
Matches played on courts equipped with cameras will be streamed, and players will be able to watch them later.

Categories and Registration
Registration will be open from Wednesday, September 20th, until Monday, October 9th, at 12:00 p.m. Once registration is closed, we will verify that all participants meet the requirements to participate in the tournament
Players and players who meet the age requirements for each category are eligible to participate. These requirements are as follows:
- +35 years: Players born in the year 1988
- +40 years: Players born in the year 1983
- +45 years: Players born in the year 1978
- +50 years: Players born in the year 1973
- +55 years: Players born in the year 1968
- +60 years: Players born in the year 1963
In case a category cannot be formed due to lack of participants, it will be merged with the immediately lower category (e.g., if +45 does not have enough participants, they will be placed in +40).
The registration fee (€30) includes:
- Participation in the competition
- Welcome reception – Tournament presentation or evening gala
- Prize distribution – Tournament closing
- Welcome pack valued at €50
The registration fee of €30 per player entitles them to play at least two matches, includes balls, and provides water for the matches.
International Senior Padel Tour and The Players club can each allocate one Wild Card, two per category.

- Download the Paddeo Sports app using the links provided above
- Log in if you are already registered. If not, register by clicking on the registration option found on the app’s home screen. It’s important to fill in all the required fields. You will need to verify your account through an email that will be sent to you (also check your spam folder)
- Once logged in, you will see upcoming tournaments. Look for «ISPT Valladolid»
- Select the category you want to register for and, when you click, choose your partner (both of you must be registered in the app)
- Select your shirt size and your partner’s size
- Select your team’s country
- Make the payment and confirm
- You will receive a confirmation email with your registration details
- In ‘My Competitions,’ you can select any scheduling conflicts (hours when you cannot play)

Competition
The matches will be played in a best-of-two-sets format, and in case of a tie at one set each, a super tie-break to 10 points will replace the third set.
The competition system will be organized based on the number of registered pairs in each category as follows:
If the number of courts at the organizing club allows:
- First Phase: Round Robin
- Second Phase: Single Elimination Bracket
In the event of up to 12 pairs:
- First Phase: Round Robin
- Second Phase: Single Elimination Bracket
For more than 12 pairs:
- Single Elimination Bracket
In the Round Robin competition system, groups of 4 (maximum) will be formed, and all pairs within each group will play against each other. In case of a final tie within the groups between two or more pairs, the following criteria will be used to break the tie:
- In the case of a double tie, the pair that won their head-to-head match will advance.
- In the case of a triple tie, the following criteria will be applied in order:
- Difference in matches won and lost
- Difference in sets won and lost
- Difference in games won and lost
- Draw
The Competition Committee reserves the right to adjust and modify the competition system in cases where the original format cannot be maintained due to unforeseen circumstances.
Rest
There is no rest after the first game of each set. At the end of a set, there is a two-minute break, even if there is no change of ends. A maximum of 4 minutes of rest can be taken after the second set. If any player exceeds the 4-minute limit, they will be informed.
The rest time between 2 matches should be at least equivalent to one match session, not less than one hour and fifteen minutes.
Players may be scheduled to play a maximum of two matches per day. A player who registers for two categories must be prepared to play the necessary number of matches for the smooth running of the tournament, with no rest time between matches if necessary.
Once registration is closed, the draw will be made, and brackets with schedules will be published in the Paddeo Sports app. Players should check the schedule for their first match.
The referee has the authority to resolve any issues related to the tournament that arise before or during the competition. Likewise, the referee is the only authority to declare a match as a win by W.O. (Walkover). The referee’s decisions are final and cannot be appealed.
The referee will have contact information for the participants to reach them if necessary.
Excessive Delays
Players must start the match after 5 minutes of warm-up. They must not exceed 20 seconds between the end of one point and the start of the next. The receiving player must be ready to receive when the server is ready to serve. During the change of sides, no more than 1 minute and 30 seconds should be exceeded.
Dress Code
On the court, during the match, players must wear appropriate and relevant clothing for playing paddle tennis.
Injuries
In case of an injury during the match or warm-up, a player may request medical assistance. If they require diagnosis or treatment, the player can use the one-time allowance of the standard 5-minute suspension.
The request for assistance can be made at any point during the match. The 5-minute game suspension can be taken immediately, at the end of the game, or during the change of sides.
If it occurs during the change of sides, the suspension can be extended to 6 and a half minutes, including the 1.5 minutes allocated for the change of sides. Once the 5-minute suspension is used, if the player requires medical assistance again, they can do so only during the 1.5 minutes of the change of sides, for a maximum of three times during the match. The same criteria apply in the case of cramps.
Prizes
The finals of the International Senior Padel Tour The Players Valladolid tournament will be played, unless otherwise communicated, on Sunday. After the scheduled matches (finals) conclude, the award ceremony will take place. All prizes will be presented at the end of the tournament.
It is recommended that both members of the pair attend the trophy and prize presentation. The main champions in all categories will receive a trophy and a paddle tennis racket as accreditation for the event. The main runners-up in all categories will receive a trophy and sports apparel.
Code of Conduct
Any action that violates the Code of Conduct will be handled by the Ethics and Discipline Committee of the ISPT Europa Directorate. The report is submitted by the Tournament Referee in conjunction with the Sports Director. The tribunal will determine the penalty to be applied.
Unsportsmanlike Conduct: At the end of the Tournament, the Prosecutor or the Tournament Director reports in writing to the tribunal all violations of the Code of Conduct, and the tribunal determines the penalty to be applied. The following is the penalty scheme to be used by the Prosecutor during the course of a match for violations of the aforementioned code:
1st Offense: Warning 2nd Offense: Point to the opponents 3rd and subsequent offenses: Game, set, match in favor of the opponents
The Prosecutor can disqualify a player for a single violation of the code if, in their opinion, the action justifies it, and the decision is final. A player must make their best effort to win the match. If, in the opinion of the Prosecutor, a player does not do so, they may be disqualified.
